Project Manager for the Department of Development and Quality

We are an engaged team consisting of eight business developers, a medically responsible nurse, a medically responsible for rehabilitation, five system administrators, and project managers.

Responsibilities

The administration needs project managers to lead digitalization projects. As a project manager within the welfare administration, you will contribute to implementing the welfare committee's digital transformation plan 2025–2028 by leading prioritized IT and digitalization projects, following our IT implementation process and project model, and coordinating all digitalization projects within the welfare administration. As a project manager, you will be part of a smaller workgroup that ensures a functioning IT support for the welfare administration's users and the citizens who utilize the services based on assignments, goals, and requirements.

The work involves close collaboration with system administrators, business developers, and the municipality's IT strategists.

Qualifications

University or college education or work experience deemed sufficient by the employer. Practical experience in leading projects is an important prerequisite, and we prefer that you have experience in quality assurance.

Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities. You are motivated by clearly defined goals and have the ability to translate these into concrete actions. With a focus on the goal, you can reprioritize work when conditions or needs change. You can work at both operational and strategic levels and have the ability to see the whole organization. Furthermore, you have good communication and pedagogical skills and can express yourself easily in Swedish, both orally and in writing. As a person, you are structured and ensure that work is completed and results are followed up.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

The position is a one-year project employment with a possible extension.
